About Us

Camp Hill CIC is a community group set up to support the residents of Camp Hill in Nuneaton, our aims are to reduce anti social behaviour, support young people with a twice weekly youth club, provide food for families in need, support young carers, community garden to enrich the area and bring additional funding and support to the area. 

Since starting Camp Hill Community, we have supported the reduction of anti social behaviour in the area by 42%

Our Mission

Camp Hill CIC is dedicated to creating a positive impact in the community of Camp Hill. We are committed to reducing anti-social behavior, providing essential support for young people through our youth club, offering assistance to families in need through food provisions, and supporting young carers. Our community garden initiative aims to enrich the area and foster a sense of togetherness. Additionally, we strive to bring additional funding and support to the area for sustainable development and growth.

Emma Shiers

Director

Emma was brought up on Camp Hill and attended Camp Hill 1st and Middle school, her family live on Camp Hill and she is the community governor at Camp Hill primary. Her role at Camp Hill CIC is a volunteer CEO. Her role involves ensuring we have enough funding to continue to deliver youth club, the community garden and other activities within camp hill.

Jo Thompson

Project Coordinator

Jo is co-founder and director of Camp Hill Community CIC and is also the co-ordinator of all projects and activities. She started as a volunteer and is now a paid member of staff, she lives on Camp Hill and her grandchildren attend Primary schools in Camp Hill.

Donna Periam

Youth Worker

Donna is our Young Carers worker and her role is funded by Alan Higgs, as part of her role she also delivers 1-2-1 activities and youth club supporting young carers

Community Gardener

Jason is funded by awards for All environmental, which is administered by the National Lottery. Jason's role is to support the dev of comm gardens across the estate, ensuring access to free fresh produce locally. Jason will also be developing a business of garden ,maintenance services, for money going back to C H C in order to keep the community garden going.

Liam Thompson

Volunteer

Liam has been volunteering with us since the start. He supports youth club on Mon & Wed evening. Cooking with our y p, delivering activities, supporting day trips and helping with seasonal fundraising activities such as community fairs. Liam is doing a level 2 NVQ in youth work. Liam lives on Camp Hill.

Jason volunteers at youth club on Monday and Wednesday and helps with the activities. Jason was brought up in Camp Hill and still lives on Camp Hill.
